Last night I happened to watch the famous talk show, the Oprah Winfrey. As usual, what ever came out from this show normally captured my attention. I think most of us do share the same feeling!

The show last night talked about the experience of the people who had read a book called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne 3 years ago. They discussed about how these readers have been using the knowledge which they called it the ‘Law of Attraction’. 

3 years ago I received an email from Dr. Joe Vitale telling me about this book which I thought was something to do with marketing product. Then, out of nowhere, I bumped to this familiar name once again.

Last night Oprah interviewed the people who followed the secret and all of them had given a first-rate and constructive respond. They were saying that the ‘law of attraction’ is really a powerful and can happen to our life without knowing its coming.

There is a distinction between MLM and Affiliate marketing.

MLM is a process of marketing a product and recruiting people to also sell the product which ultimately will generate an income to the MLM company that you have joined.

PRODUCT

Normally MLM relates to a process of selling variance kinds of products. But the most popular ones will be vitamins or supplements. 

Affiliate marketing also selling product but with different approach. They used a referral system rather than recruiting. Most of their products are electronic based such as e-book, software & services which are intangible. In addition to that, they also sell physical products.

COMMISSION

MLM pay the commission to those who managed to sell the product and success in recruiting 7 people under them. On the other hand, they also need to maintain their purchase at a certain level in order to enjoy the commission.

Not everybody can become a Mr. knows everything, including those who called themselves as the internet ‘sifu’.
For about 3 years I have been involved in the world of internet marketing, the real master of internet marketers are those who already succeed after so many rounds of failure. But, they never give up, keep trying and trying.
To become an expert internet marketer, we need to learn various ways of generating money online which includes cheating! But you must make thorough research in order to have such skill.
My first experience in generating additional income was at the time I produced my book on how to make money by blogging. Subsequent after that, I published my ebook which have received tremendous response.
And now I am trying to learn about generating additional money through a program called Clickbank.
So, there are many ways you can think off. The key is just to continue learning because all the information is free and can easily accessible through the internet. We just need to explore for it!

2008 will be leaving us in 3 weeks time and 2009 is waiting with lots of challenges.
I guess next year will give a big impact to us as we are facing with critical economy and uncertainties market condition. Not to forget the unpredictable political situation.
However, life must go on and 2009 should be the starting point for us to do the best in what ever we plan to do.
Motivator always mentioned the importance of having a resolution although to achieve it may create difficulty. Resolution or we can say a promise to yourself can lead you to specific objectives you may want to attain that year. Big or small, it is out of the issue.
Having said that, we must not forget what we have done in the past. What we have accomplished and what obstacles we have deal with throughout the year.
In 2008, my book ‘Rahsia Blogger’ has become the 7th local popular book and I have received my 1st royalty which not that much but yet I felt satisfied and grateful!
The same goes to my 1st ebook ‘Rahsia Kambing’ which have received unbelievable response from the readers.
Before this I always think that it is not easy to make extra money from the internet but I prove myself wrong. Because if you want to do it, you can! Most importantly, focus, patient and never give up.

2009 – This what I plan to do

1. To learn how to play golf and go green by March.
2. To dig up more on Click Bank.
3. To read at least 2 books per month.
4. To write at least 4 e books….subject matter? Still thinking!
5. To arrange for a seminar for those beginners who wants to start blogging and get
more income.
