The interesting part in this chapter is that it gives ways for us to build good blog and getting income from it. The example given by Darren in one of his blog which is Digital-photography-school.com, tells about how this blog able to get an income. He managed to generate income for his blog from the advertisement by the company who involved with cameras and also from the sales of banner, product based advertising and textual advertising.
While in chapter 8, the authors discuss a topic called “Blog Promotion and Marketing”. In this chapter, Chris and Darren stressed the importance of marketing your blog. “A blog is not going to make you much money if nobody reads it”. This chapter will give you information on how to attract people reading your post and at the same time retain them as your regular readers.
In summary, I think that this book is worth to be read especially for those who have build their blog and have the basic knowledge in blogging. For those who are stranger to blog, you may find this book a bit confusing and advance to you. Try to learn the fundamental concepts about blog first in order to understand the book better.
